The Solid collection is a new must, the state of the art in unglazed double-loaded porcelain stoneware. Its chromatic simplicity and unique textures are clearly meeting the trends of contemporary architecture. The Solid collection is the perfect product to design minimalist environments, being ideal, not only for residential use, but also for public places where high traffic is expected. The Solid manufacturing starts with the hyper granulometric reduction operation, from where a grain diameter of less than 150μ is obtained. This thin powder is then homogeneously spread over another layer of non-reduced powder and both undergo a force of 500Kg per cm2 carried out by a hydraulic isostatic vertical press. Tiles are then fired at a temperature of 1230ºC creating a very hard surface with an extra strong mechanical resistance. Automatic squaring and rectification operations are finally performed in all pieces to guarantee monocaliber and full modularity for all sizes.
